“Energy sobriety” is spreading among traders. After food businesses, major specialized retail brands, such as Decathlon, Ikea or Fnac-Darty, will join the protocol aimed at reducing the energy consumption of stores, France Commerce announced on Monday.

“We are delighted with the mobilization of the major retail brands, faced with this challenge of energy sobriety and reduction of our electricity consumption”, declared in a press release Jacques Creyssel, the spokesperson for France Commerce, which brings together food and non-food trade brands.
